Albouystown man on $100K bail for possession of ganja
Quinn Neblet, an Albouystown, Georgetown resident, was on Monday slapped with a possession of cannabis charge.
Neblet denied the charge when Senior Magistrate Clive Nurse read it to him in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The charge stated that on May 28, 2024, at Barrack and Fort Streets, Kingston, Georgetown, Neblett had in his possession 44 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
He was granted $100,000 bail, and the case was adjourned until July 3. As a condition for bail, Neblet is required to report to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Brickdam every other Monday. Attorney Bernard DaSilva represented the defendant.
