Antigua’s Kimberly Percival conferred title of Ambassador-at- Large
Sportswoman Kimberly Percival was conferred the title of Ambassador-at-large in her home country Antigua and Barbuda, for her outstanding international performance in bodybuilding.
According to Loop Caribbean News, she received her instruments of appointment at the Government House in a brief ceremony.
Ambassador Percival made history when she captured the top prize at a prestigious international event, the Arnold Classics Europe in Seville Spain.
By doing this, she became the first athlete from Antigua and Barbuda to claim such an international reputation.
This performance was also commended by the twin island’s Minister of Sport, Daryll Mathew.
The Minister of Tourism Charles Fernadez also praised her an asset to the global promotion programme of the island.
Ambassador Percival is recognised in global circles of fitness and health globally and is also extremely articulate to global audiences. (Loop Caribbean News)
