Body of Ulverston man recovered after Canje Creek boat mishap

The body of 30-year-old Kevin France, who went missing following a boat mishap in the Canje Creek, Berbice, on Saturday, has been found.
France’s partially decomposed body was found in the Canje River near the New Forest earlier today.
Reports are that France of Ulverston Village, Corentyne, along with four other men, were in a boat heading to Banib along the Canje River to check on some cattle.
While at New Forest village, their vessel collided with the swellings of two other boats in front of them, and the boat capsized.
As a result, the men managed to swim to shore, after which they realised that France was missing. A police report was lodged, and a search was conducted, but the missing man was not found.
