Canal No. 1 man wanted for conspiracy to commit forgery arrested

Horatio Williams, who was the subject of a wanted bulletin by the Guyana Police Force (GPF) earlier this year for conspiracy to commit forgery, was arrested on Monday.

Williams, who is said to be unemployed of Delices Canal Number 1 Polder, West Bank Demerara (WBD), was taken into custody at about 12:30h on Monday during an intelligence-led operation on Brickdam, Georgetown, by law enforcement officials.

While the Police had said that Williams allegedly committed the offence between December 1, 2023, and January 15, 2024, at Ruimveldt, Georgetown, no details were released to the media.
