Construction worker, 21, charged with armed robbery
Twenty-one-year-old Dashawn Green was on Tuesday remanded to prison on an armed robbery charge.
Green, 21, of Haslington, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was hauled before Magistrate Fabayo Azore in the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The charge states that on August 1, 2022, at Non-Pareil, ECD, he robbed 30-year-old Kimberly Bourne while being armed.
According to the Police, Green was only arrested Saturday last. After remanding the construction worker, the Magistrate adjourned the matter to December 5, 2020, and transferred the matter to the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court.
