Corentyne man dies after crashing into parked lorry
A Corentyne man is now dead after he crashed his motorcycle into a parked lorry on the Auchlyne Public Road at Corentyne earlier today. Dead is 24-year-old Kelon Scott of Limlair Village, Corentyne.
According to information received, at about 6:10h, Scott was proceeding west along the southern lane of the Auchlyne Public Road allegedly at a fast rate of speed when he lost control of motorcycle CL 9964 and crashed into motor lorry GLL 1193, which was parked on the southern side of the road.
As a result of the collision, Scott fell onto the roadway, where he received injuries on his body.
He was picked up in an unconscious condition by public-spirited citizens and rushed to the Port Mourant Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Investigations are continuing.
