Emancipation J’ouvert: Improvised weapons among items seized by Police

An Emancipation J’ouvert was held on Friday night and into this morning at the National Park.

The J’ouvert saw 2500 persons in attendance, and the Guyana Police Force (GPF) said that improvised weapons, scissors, lighters, and a toy gun were found and confiscated prior to entry by patrons.
