A 24-year-old goldsmith was on Friday stabbed to death during a game of cricket at the Muslim Youth Organization ground on Woolford Avenue, Georgetown.
Dead is Kareem Kayum of Regent Street, Bourda, Georgetown. The incident occurred at about 22:40h.
The Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) reported that Kyum and the suspect are known to each other and would play cricket every Friday evening.
