Four charged with armed robbery remanded to prison

Four men were slapped with a joint charge of armed robbery after being hauled before Magistrate Faith Mcgusty.

Imran Mohamed, Winsley Richards, Ryan Wilson, and Roberto Lewis appeared at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate’s Court, West Coast Demerara, and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The court heard that on January 27 at Malgre Tout, West Bank Demerara (WBD), while being armed, robbed Altaz Mohamed of $500,000 in cash.
The Magistrate after listening to the facts of the matter remanded the quartet to prison until February 21, 2022.
