Housewife who went to fetch water discovers man’s motionless body
The body of 53-year-old Michael Adolph of Tabatinga, Lethem, in Central Rupununi, was discovered in a well in a yard at Tabatinga, Lethem.
The man’s 23-year-old daughter told investigators that she last saw her father on November 7, 2022, at about 05:30h, when he left home.
However, on November 10, 2022, at about 17:30h, a 40-year-old housewife of Tabatinga who went to fetch water from the well discovered the man's body face down.
The matter was immediately reported to the Lethem Police Station, and ranks were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, Adolph’s body was seen with two small cuts to his head.
The body is presently at the Lethem Hospital's mortuary awaiting a Post-Mortem Examination (PME). The investigation is ongoing.
