Kaneville man, 22, on bail for causing death by dangerous driving
A 22-year-old man from Kaneville, East Bank Demerara (EBD), has been released on bail after being charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The accused, Chris Sobers, was hauled before acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which stated that on April 04, 2024, he drove motor car PAF 4593 in a manner dangerous to the public, thereby causing the death of Edward Solomon, a 28-year-old motorcyclist.
Sobers was released on $300,000 bail, and the case was adjourned to July 09, 2024.
