Man, 58, busted with cocaine, denies ownership
Kent Nichols, who was busted with three grams of cocaine last Friday, denied ownership of the drugs when he was hauled in the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates’ Court to answer to a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Appearing before Senior Magistrate Sunil Scarce, Nichols, 58, of Prospect, East Bank Demerara (EBD), entered a not guilty plea after the charge was read to him.
He was remanded to prison, and the case was adjourned to May 30, 2024. The 58-year-old man was busted on April 12 with cocaine at Grove Squatting Area.
