Mechanic nabbed with 12-gauge cartridges in his bedroom
A 29-year-old mechanic of Mon Repos Pasture, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was nabbed with four 12-gauge cartridges in a chest of drawers in his bedroom on Saturday.
In a brief statement, the Guyana Police Force (GPF) said between 16:30h and 17:00h, a party of police led by an Assistant Superintendent conducted a search of the mechanic’s home.
During the search, the ammunition was unearthed. The 29-year-old man was cautioned and arrested. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
