Over $10M up for grab as Digicel launches summer promotion
Telecommunications giant Digicel on Thursday launched its summer promotion “Cash Vault,” which will give prepaid customers a chance to grab up to $3 million in cash.
The promotion, which was launched at the Pegasus Hotel, saw four media workers walking away with $160,000 in cash.
Videographer at the National Communications Network (NCN), Kester Pompey, and a reporter at Kaieteur News, Renay Sambach, both won $50,000 each.
Allyiah Allicock, another reporter attached to Kaieteur News, won $42,000, while Assistant Editor at the Guyana Chronicle, Navendra Seoraj, secured $18,000.
Digicel’s Communications Manager Vidya Sanichara explained that the campaign runs for six weeks, starting on July 15 and concluding on August 25 with two grand draws.
“To qualify, customers must top up with $1000 or more (scratch cards or electronically) to collect the letters to spell the word C-A-S-H. Once the top-up is successful, the customer will receive a text message with their electronic letter,” Sanichara noted.
Sanichara further added that customers could track their electronic letters collected by texting ‘GRAB’ to 1441. Within the two qualifying periods, customers who spell the word will enter the Cash Vault for a chance to win up to three million.
“Once you have entered the Vault, you have one minute to grab as much cash as you can,” the Communications Manager noted. The grand promotion draws are slated for August 6 and August 27.
