Shoemaker remanded for ganja possession
A shoemaker was on Tuesday remanded to prison for having 16.5lbs of marijuana in his possession.
29-year-old Carlos McPherson of 480 Canvas City, Wismar, Linden, was hauled before Magistrate Wanda Fortune in the Linden Magistrate’s Court and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
As a result, he was remanded to prison until June 2, 2022, when he would make another court appearance.
A Police Constable arrested McPherson at the Mackenzie Market after 16.5lbs of cannabis sativa was found in his possession.
