Taxi driver gets bail on break and enter and larceny charge
A taxi driver was on Friday slapped with a break and enter and larceny charge and released on bail.
32-year-old Adrian Forris was hauled before Magistrate Sunil Scarce in the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates’ Court.
The Court heard that Forris and another male were arrested on November 3, 2022, after they broke into the dwelling place of Jermaine James and carted off with $496,000 in cash and items.
However, when the two appeared in Court, the other male indicated that he was 17 years old but did not provide any identification.
Notwithstanding, the Magistrate discharged the charge against him. As for Forris, the Administration of Justice (AJA) was applied, and he pleaded not guilty.
As a result, he was granted bail in the sum of $100,000, and the matter was adjourned to December 1, 2022, for report.
