With overwhelming support, International Building Expo extended for two more days with free entry

Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal has announced that the International Building Expo 2022 will run until Tuesday.

Initially, the expo was slated to conclude today, but the Government has decided to extend it due to the overwhelming support it received from the public.

From tomorrow, the expo will open from noon to 23:00h, and Minister Croal announced: “that both days there is no entry fee for anyone, so the gates will be open for one and all to visit.”

Over 350 booths are on display at the expo, showcasing Guyana’s future architecture and infrastructure.

Minister Croal is encouraging patrons to visit the expo and interact with exhibitors. He said that so far, they are pleased with the success the expo has brought.

This is the largest building expo ever held in Guyana. The expo is being held at the National Stadium and is open today from 10:00h to 23:00h with an entry fee of $300.
