Woman killed, another injured in Linden-Soesdyke Highway accident
A 35-year-old woman is now dead, while a man is seriously injured following an accident at Loo Creek on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway on Saturday.
The dead woman has been identified as Notoya Narine of One Mile, Wismar, Linden. The identity of the male is currently unknown, but MTV News Update was informed that he is Narine’s boyfriend.
Two children were also in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Reports are that at about midday, Narine, who was the driver of the motor car was proceeding on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway, and while in the vicinity of Loo Creek, she lost control, resulting in the vehicle turning turtle.
They were rushed to a medical facility, where Narine was pronounced dead on arrival, and the male was admitted for further medical care. The two children were treated and discharged.
