Woman slapped with a slew of charges

A woman was today hauled before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court to answer to several charges.

Rebecca Sealy appeared before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly and was charged with assaulting Police Officer Toshawna Zack, disorderly behaviour, and resisting arrest.

She pleaded guilty to the disorderly behaviour charge and was fined $10,000 with two weeks imprisonment. As for the disorderly behaviour charge, she was granted bail of $30,000.

She is scheduled to make another court appearance on May 10, 2022.
