Women sues CC&PA for $25M over allegedly leaving minor in lockups

The Child Care and Protection Agency (CC&PA) and its Director Ann Green are now facing a $25 million lawsuit over allegedly leaving a 14-year-old girl at the East La Penitence Police Station for days, during a narcotics probe.
In a 21 statement of claims filed in the High Court, the victim among other things claimed that she was forced to endure inhuman treatment at the Police Station despite the CC&PA knowing about the matter.
The case is expected to be heard by a judge in the High Court.
